One of the most beautiful locations I have ever been to! We spent two nights here with our children, aged 0, 2 and 4 years old, and had a great time. The staff were really lovely to us and the kids and showed them the stalls with animals and how they make their own butter. The accommodation is rather basic but comfortable. The shared bathrooms had just been redone and were in great shape. Although there is not much to choose from in the menu the food was good and we enjoyed the homemade bread, butter and jams for breakfast. Kids can run around the hut safely and there is much to discover in nature at walking distance. Definitely recommend it and would love to come back someday! :)

They accepted us on a last minute call (on the same day) which was very convenient and arranging. The overall stay lacked hospitality from the staff once in the place which impacted on our perception of the place. Breakfast was a bit poor. Half of the hut was renovated, showers and toilets are excellent, the room we got was in the old part, but it was ok to sleep and get some rest, especially after a long walk.

Super nice location and friendly service. The food I ordered was just not it should be. I ordered a classic Kaiserschmarrn and received a weird pancake, which just tasted like sugar and fat. It's a nice spot to take a rest, but the food was a bit disappointing.

Nice to have a place to rest, drink and eat. I encourage more food that does not have cow, baby cow, pig, chicken, though. A vegetable soup, perhaps a veggie burger, who knows? It may catch on with all the healthy folks there!

Hiked from the funicular to hut. Magnificent views. Stopped for a tea and lunch. I don't think the staff are trying to be rude, but they do seem disorganised, especially because it gets crowded as this is the only hut in the near-by area, and those views! Food was good.

I was here in the summer. The place itself is spectacular! Absolutely breathtaking view. After a walk, it is a great place to stop and chill. You can eat there or you may also bring your own food up and relax in the area, enjoy the sun and rest before going down. The food is okay. I was there around lunch time and it was a little busy. And they said this year is busier than usual. You may have to wait a little to find a table. Service is great though.

We had the best time here. It’s a secluded hut that has everything. The view is amazing and the staff is very kind. They made hot chocolate with fresh milk (not older than 20 minutes) to top our stay.

We came at a busy moment and people didn’t queue in line but just passed other people waiting longer already. Since there was only one person tending tables, she was not able to give quick service. Maybe let people order at the bar to go faster during peak lunch time (we were there at 1:30 and waited for about 45 minutes for a table + an order)? Food was ok. Not great. Good location and nice views though.

A really crowded place, that being said a splendid view of the geisler groupe! A real must see, you have a nice over view of sas rigais, furchetta, ... You can reach the hut true a hiking trail from st magdalena
